I spent eight years in government and international development learning one thing: good systems are the difference between a team that delivers and one that just stays busy.

I started in the Philippine government doing the work most people never see: screening documents, maintaining action trackers, running secretariat functions for executive meetings. Unglamorous work for some. But...it taught me what operational discipline actually looks like from the inside.

From there I moved into international development, coordinating programs across multiple stakeholders with real deadlines and no room for dropped items.

The common thread through all of it wasn't the sector. It was the systems problem. Too much living in someone's head. Too many tasks with no owner. Too many processes that only worked because one person was holding everything together manually.

So...I made the shift.

Now I work with founders and remote teams who have the same problems and I fix them the same way I always have. I map what's broken, build what's needed, and make sure it runs after I'm done.
